This thread is dedicated to the Lore of the server.
The Crystal

- After Titanomachia, the gods were worried about their throne being disrupted again. They could not risk another war between the Titans. Too much of their power had been drained, and if they were defeated, they feared they would never be able to regain power.
They set up a last line of defence, something to prevent the Titans from invading even if the Gods themselves could not prevail. Their defence: A crystal with combined power from all of the deities. It was the most powerful artifact known to the primordial world. The Crystal of Exile, as it was named. It had the power to send an omniscient being straight to Tartarus.
The Gods hid the crystal on Earth, for it was better protected, and better utilized. Thus, being between Tartarus and Olympus, it offered better protected from the rising cretins from below the underworld.
After Prometheus and Epimetheus had completed their assigned task, the Gods needed to find a way to keep The Crystal of Exile from humans reach. They decided to try and experiment. The gods would attempt at combining their being with mortals in order to create a mutated fetus. The fetus, sharing both essences of a human and a god, would live in a human body, with a godlike soul. Those sharing this power were known as Demi-Gods. They had the powers of a god, but not quite as powerful.
This counted as a double positive for the Gods, they had Half-God children stationed on Earth to protect their Crystal from harm, but their children were not powerful enough to overthrow the Gods themselves.
There were four Demi-Gods chosen for this duty; Wisdom, son of Hecate; Evalion, son of Erebos, as well as two sons of Luna, Kane, and Xavier. Luna, a minor god of the moon, and the only child of Selene and Pan, was chosen to be the Goddess Protector of the Crystal. Her mortal spouse, Jackamuth was father to her Demi-God Children.
These Four Demi-Gods kept the world in balance practically by themselves. They were all granted immortality after their part in defeating Hyperion.

who is Hecate: Greek Godess of many things, including magic.

100% , although you lost bonus marks for not mentioning hades as an olympian

Technically, he isn't one. The olympians are basically the rulers, and he was basically "banished" to the underworld, therefor, he isn't a ruler. But, YAY MYTHOLOGY!

the 12 olympians are the deities that rule on olympus. hades is technically an olympian, just not one of the main 12 rulers.
